I have long hair I am looking to sell. Untreated for 28 years! Does anyone know where I can sell it?

Hair dark blond/light brown with natural highlights of blond and a tiny bit of dark red through out. Never been coloured. Permed once 20 years ago. Wash and condition on regular basis. Blow dry maybe once or twice a month. About a 13inch ponytail. Possibly a few inches longer!

My friend's mom sold hers to an Inuit artist - about $500 back in the 80s. She knew him through her work (she's an Inuit art dealer).

Why dont you donate to locks for love. Thats and oganization who makes wigs for children who have lost their hair do to cancer. It sounds like it could make a couple of wigs. I know the money sounds nice but gosh wouldn't the feeling of helping a child be better

I don't know about selling it, but you can give it away through your country's cancer society, foundation or whatever, and it will be used to create wigs for kids who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment. You need to have about 13" to work with, because you need to donate your hair 12" at a time, and your hair must be tied at both ends for this donation. Any hairdresser can secure and cut your hair appropriately for this purpose, and You'll be helping a kid as the same time.

Hey, if this was good enough for my then 9-year-old niece to do (she TOLD her parents that she was doing this, much to their utter suprise and great pride), then anyone can do it. BTW, she's now 12 and in a few months will be donating her hair again.
