oh nooo, i have long hair and i would be very upset, not as upset as i would be about my injury though.

A lot of people in the west don't understand that some cultures see a bald or very short haired woman as unsexes, its like she has almost lost her breasts. It would be very very difficult, but if i was dieing it would be the least worrying thing. I would get a wig though, I would feel very undignified with a shiny head

My sister had very long pretty hair when we, were 18.. she had to have half her hair shaved off.. It was this or she would not be with us today.... tumor on the Brian....

hair does grow back. life is worth living and your family would say the same thing..... I glad my sister had the tumor removed because she's my best friend in this world.....

i would ask locks of love to make me a wig or i would go to a hair salon place and get really long hair extensions in wig form

Well, if I was losing my life, my hair, which is also long....wouldnt matter anymore. If I was gonna die, I might as well be comfortable and get rid of all the hair. Your hair isnt important anymore, if youre gonna die.

Actually, that recently happened to a close friend of mine.

She suffered a head injury in an accident that required surgery, and all of her beautiful shoulder length hair had to be shaved off.

I know that she was very upset about losing her hair, but the important thing is that she'll make a complete recovery. That matters more than how much hair you have.

By the way, since her surgery she has been wearing a very natural looking wig, so except for a few friends and family who've seen her new "style", people aren't even aware of the difference.
