Try choppy-like layers....back of hair longer and top layers shorter. this would look great striaght and gives volume if you wear it wavy.

if you have fine this would look best short and if you have an oval shaped face you can pretty much get away with whatever style you desire. I had long hair but it was fine and you could see the split ends from bagdad. and then I finely got the nerv to shave it because I would rather have a cut that accenuates my facial features then to get a cut that is in style and have it go out of next month every woman that I see has long locks I hardly see a woman that has very short hair. lots of woman that long hair are using it as a security blanket.

I have long curly hair much like my avater looks,It's trimed every 3 months and long layered with long feathered bangs and face skimming layers
